Valentine’s Day heart-shaped paper clip
Here’s what you need:
1. A pair of scissors
2. Drinking straws (additional tip: try to get the straws in different colours and shapes to add some variety to your hearts)
And here’s how you make the special Valentine’s Day heart-shaped bookmarks and paper clips from straws, with pictures to guide you too.
Step by step instructions:
Step 1: Cut a little section (about an inch) off the straw. See picture below.
Step 2: Press the section and make it flat.
Step 3: Cut it as shown in the picture.
Step 4: Add another little slit if you want to be able to clip the heart onto paper.
Step 5: Open the heart. In the picture, you can see the slit at the bottom of the heart.
Step 6: If you made the slit, clip the heart onto the edge of any paper or cardstock like you would a paper clip.
Very easy to make, isn’t it? Make a dozen or more to show your love this special Valentine’s Day!
