33 secrets to a great relationship

Seeing that it’s Valentine’s Day, here’s a special romantic tip just for Valentine’s Day. Here’s what you need:

1. A pair of scissors

2. Drinking straws (additional tip: try to get the straws in different colours and shapes to add some variety to your hearts)

And here’s how you make the special Valentine’s Day heart-shaped bookmarks and paper clips from straws, with pictures to guide you too.

Step by step instructions:

Step 1: Cut a little section (about an inch) off the straw. See picture below.

Step 2: Press the section and make it flat.

Step 3: Cut it as shown in the picture.

Step 4: Add another little slit if you want to be able to clip the heart onto paper.

Step 5: Open the heart. In the picture, you can see the slit at the bottom of the heart.

Step 6: If you made the slit, clip the heart onto the edge of any paper or cardstock like you would a paper clip.

Very easy to make, isn’t it? Make a dozen or more to show your love this special Valentine’s Day!

There’s also a full 2009 almanac available for purchase if you like what you see. It is a little pricy compared to what I’ve seen on other sites. But I am quite impressed with the comprehensiveness of this almanac as it shows the auspicious and inauspicious hour by zodiac sign on a daily basis.

For those who prefer to be more detailed, they may want to engage an expert to do special calculations on the date of birth of the bride and groom as well as both sides of the parents to make sure that they do not have any clashes on the date and timing of the actual wedding ceremony. By doing this, they will have an auspicious wedding date that is customised to the couple. The only down side to this is that the auspicious marriage date may not fall on a weekend where people normally prefer to host their wedding. However, there are normally a few auspicious dates given and you can choose the one that best suits your needs. How to find auspicious wedding dates in 2009

Most parents today are fine whether they have baby girls or baby boys. As long as the child is healthy and happy, the parents are thankful enough. However, there are many who wish to have just the perfect fit of both boys and girls in the family, and there may also be those who are pressured by the parents to have baby boys or girls for their own reasons.

There’s this chart that has been widely made known that can help to predict the gender of a baby by the month that the baby is conceived. You can use this chart to increase the chances of conceiving a baby of your preferred gender.

This chart is based on the Chinese lunar calendar. To test the accuracy of this chart, a few friends and I got together to plot in our previous conceiving months and see if the gender of the babies match what is in the chart. To our utter surprise and delight, this chart proves to be accurate for all of us!

How do you use this chart to conceive a baby in the gender that you hope for? Easy.

On the Y axis of the chart (the vertical left side) plots the age of the woman. Take note that this age refers to the Chinese age. To determine your Chinese age, just add 1 to your current age. So if you are 30 years old, then you should look at the row that reads 31.

On the X axis (horizontal top), the numbers 1 to 12 indicate the month in the year (January to December).

The letter B in the chart indicates Boy while an empty cell in the table means a Girl.

Now how do you use this chart to determine when you should conceive a baby boy or a girl? For illustration purpose, let’s just say a 30 year old woman wants to conceive a baby girl.

Firstly, look at the row that indicates your Chinese age, which will be the row with the number 31. Now look to the right from the columns 1 to 12 in that same age group row to find cells that are NOT indicated with B. In this case, you will find that month 2 (February) and from month 4 (April) to 11 (November) do not have Bs. These are the months that you could possibly conceive a girl.
