Most parents today are fine whether they have baby girls or baby boys. As long as the child is healthy and happy, the parents are thankful enough. However, there are many who wish to have just the perfect fit of both boys and girls in the family, and there may also be those who are pressured by the parents to have baby boys or girls for their own reasons.
There’s this chart that has been widely made known that can help to predict the gender of a baby by the month that the baby is conceived. You can use this chart to increase the chances of conceiving a baby of your preferred gender.

This chart is based on the Chinese lunar calendar. To test the accuracy of this chart, a few friends and I got together to plot in our previous conceiving months and see if the gender of the babies match what is in the chart. To our utter surprise and delight, this chart proves to be accurate for all of us!
How do you use this chart to conceive a baby in the gender that you hope for? Easy.
On the Y axis of the chart (the vertical left side) plots the age of the woman. Take note that this age refers to the Chinese age. To determine your Chinese age, just add 1 to your current age. So if you are 30 years old, then you should look at the row that reads 31.
On the X axis (horizontal top), the numbers 1 to 12 indicate the month in the year (January to December).
The letter B in the chart indicates Boy while an empty cell in the table means a Girl.
Now how do you use this chart to determine when you should conceive a baby boy or a girl? For illustration purpose, let’s just say a 30 year old woman wants to conceive a baby girl.
Firstly, look at the row that indicates your Chinese age, which will be the row with the number 31. Now look to the right from the columns 1 to 12 in that same age group row to find cells that are NOT indicated with B. In this case, you will find that month 2 (February) and from month 4 (April) to 11 (November) do not have Bs. These are the months that you could possibly conceive a girl.

You calculated your mom’s conceiving month? Make sure to count back 10 months instead of 9 because actual pregnancy period is 40 weeks. But if it’s still wrong and you’re still supposed to be a girl…oops!
Don’t fret! The “1 – 12″ for the months are not actually for “January to December”. The numbers 1 – 12 on the calendar represent “Lunar months”, which is the time from one new moon to the next new moon.
For example, the 1st lunar month in 2009 began on January 26th. Until January 26, 2009 we were still in Lunar month 12. Therefore, you would have to find a “Lunar Calendar” for the year in which you were conceived.
Everything represented on the Chinese Baby Gender Chart is Lunar (mother’s age, month of conception). If the data is not converted to lunar form, the yield is “always” inaccurate results.
Surprisingly, when the data has been input in the correct form, this chart has proven itself to be extremely accurate.
not all current age add 1 is our lunar age, for example; my birth date is Jan 1980, age 29, but lunar age is 31, because Jan is before cinese new year. Am i right?

I’ve got 2 boys and while I didn’t use this method to plan that, based on my age and month of conception, it says both should be boys. I’m also currently pregnant with my 3rd, and it’s predicting another boy (sigh!).
